The church is made up of people who belong to the family of God. Because of their relationship with Jesus Christ, the members of the family like to be together. Christians from around the world reunite regularly to have communion in the Foursquare Churches. At a certain point, most of them wonder what it means that they have declared allegiance to Jesus Christ and go on to having an open commitment with the body of Christ with whom they worship. This also means that they hold to certain truths and adhere to the Foursquare Bylaws regarding memebership.
